New album Announcement! After a 16-year recording hiatus, my old duo-sparring partner and concertina virtuoso, Simon Thoumire and I are releasing a new album called Portraits. It will be released digitally – for now at least – from May 19th 2023. More details and previews coming soon, so watch this space!
Okay, slightly dramatic heading, but just wanted to announce that the limited edition CDs of the album Momento have now sold out. Celtic Connections is here again! Just one performance this year, and delighted that it’s a duo set with Norman Willmore, as part of a concert called Schenectady Calling, also featuring Martin Taylor, Bryan Gear and Violet Tulloch.
